20% of SDRs hit quota and for Commercial AEs about 10%. Even though the numbers are so low, leadership continues to hire and open new teams. Datadog is clinging itself to this hypergrowth phase and hiring way too many reps. Leadership does not care about demotivation, both founders have an engineering background and look down on salespeople.

Been great for career development and training and there is plenty of opportunities to be promoted internally. As a Commercial AE quota is almost impossible to hit though and there are a lot of processes that need to be followed.

Positive experience with very strong leadership. If they see that you are putting in the work they will reward you (i.e. new accounts etc). Can be hard to hit quota.
