Unfortunately, Elastic has transformed itself into a less than ideal spot to claim as home. Very questionable decisions being made at the top of the Amer sales org. Proximity to accounts, client relationships, active opportunities were thrown out of the window with the new "re-org". Makes you question how valued the sales team is in the Amer theater and it definitely doesn't provide any reassurance around one's job security. Recommendation to job hunters: let the recent re-org/segmentation sort itself out, likely reverting back, before considering a sales role at Elastic. With the current coverage model at Elastic, there's much better roles out there for one's career elsewhere.

Territory/account assignment changes too frequently, at the expense of the customers. Inadequate consideration into territory makeup and equity. Excessive turnover in sales, sales management and customer success. Strong platform, but still playing catchup in Observability and Security. Culture seems to be in decline.
