Market conditions mean it is harder in general for AE's to hit quota. Overall company potential and TAM are similar and still a very positive outlook.

Reps have a high level of autonomy. Market opportunity and deal sizes continue to grow despite macro conditions. Technical and challenging, but very high upside. Very globally dispersed company, which requires sales reps to also be asynch-friendly.

They pushed me out after my father passed away. After working there for over 3 years. Leadership was evil. Not sure if that’s changed or not.

GitLab is a fun place to work. As an outbound BDR inbound leads are not existent and will have to work hard to get to quota. As far as compensation goes, it's fair for the location you are based in. SLC BDR for example would make less than a BDR in Seattle.
