Current Employee3.0Nov 22, 2024Over all great company in sales org and company wide. Excellent product and fit
Current Employee2.6Jul 25, 2023to be honest I dont think my team every hit quota and I only saw an individual hit quota on 7 or 8 occasions in my time at GitLab. Was mutually separated based on performance but performance was on par with what the team was doing.

Current Employee3.0Jul 18, 2023GitLab still wants to come across as a cool company, but the moment shit hits the fan, they loose it completely. Micro Management, threats and change of policy without warnings. Quite a normal SaaS company at the end, just be aware.

Current Employee2.4Aug 27, 2025Only 10-20% of reps hitting quota. New management team explicitly telling reps to “sell futures” which is not a good sign. 2-3 major product versions have missed the mark on AI. Product vision is getting better, but constantly feels 3yrs too late. Reps get penalized for churn, but don’t get paid on renewals, which makes quota essentially 20-30% inflated.
