Former Employee Great company overall, but your experience can vary greatly by team and manager
Pros:
HubSpot has a strong overall culture and mission, and it’s clear the company cares about its people in many ways.
The brand is well-respected in SaaS, which helps when selling.
Training and resources are solid, and there’s a big emphasis on professional development.
Cons:
Your individual success can be heavily influenced by the team you’re placed on and the manager you report to.
The culture, while positive overall, can feel isolated at times depending on your team structure. You don’t always feel the benefits of HubSpot’s broader culture if your immediate environment isn’t set up for success.
Advice to Candidates:
HubSpot is a strong company and offers great opportunities, but do your due diligence on the specific team and manager you’d be working under. The company culture sets a solid foundation, but your day-to-day experience will come down to your manager’s background and approach. Ask questions about leadership experience and team dynamics during the interview process — it can make all the difference.
