Former Employee Toxic Culture, Leadership Vacuum, and Zero Accountability
After OpenText acquired Micro Focus Cybersecurity, the writing was on the wall. They initiated a massive workforce reduction, cutting over 1,200 employees—including many top performers. It became clear very quickly that leadership wasn't interested in building or sustaining a winning culture—just slashing costs and protecting a select few.
The culture is toxic and deeply political. A small inner circle is handed the best accounts and realistic quotas while the rest of the salesforce is left to starve with impossible expectations, minimal support, and little transparency. Leadership at the top is disconnected, indecisive, and unaccountable. Morale plummeted. Collaboration disappeared. Innovation died.
If you’re a high-performer looking for a merit-based, ethical, and growth-oriented environment, this isn’t it. Proceed with caution—RepVue should reflect the reality: this is not a place where most sellers can succeed. Browse Other Reviews
