Former Employee I was on the on premise database team. Our leadership was not good at all because we'd have deals where our own manager may position cloud which was essentially selling against us. This caused tension and sales friction. The good thing was that there were big install spenders but those deals weren't frequent and the deal cycle was long. Most clients were not happy to hear from us and many felt shook down by our licensing policies.
