Maneuvering change can be hard every June 1. Networking plays a big role but sometimes you don’t have much control over your fiscal year territory. OCI, CDP, Software in that order. Can make $$ everywhere but OCI has the best team.

Arrived at Oracle via an acquisition. Immediately the culture shifted for the worse and bureaucracy went wild, making it difficult to just get on and do deals

My overall experience with Oracle is good, however the sales training is insufficient and you are left alone regarding hitting your qouta - not much help. The salary is good - in relation to reaching qouta/target, getting your bonus - it depends a lot on what you are selling in the organization. Some line of business is almost impossible to be successful in.
