My overall experience was tainted by the blatant and obvious favoritism and grooming of individuals that fit a particular mold. You could be the highest attainer on your team and still get pass over for promotions. Success is often dictated by the territory you get and the favorites get the best. Even if you do well in your bad territory if you don't stroke management's egos they will find a way to make you want to leave.
