The managers got to decide how much "sales bonus" an individual should get as sales engineering was comp'd on the country number and not on the sales number of their respective account managers. This led to a lot of favoritism. Also, there were hardly any annual increments.

However, most reps do not hit quota and the territories are comically nonsensical.
