Compensation plans, goals, and quotas don’t make sense for some territories. You either get lucky, or have an OTE that is unattainable.

My overall experience with Oracle is good, however the sales training is insufficient and you are left alone regarding hitting your qouta - not much help. The salary is good - in relation to reaching qouta/target, getting your bonus - it depends a lot on what you are selling in the organization. Some line of business is almost impossible to be successful in.
