Former Employee High ELT attrition, RIFs and restructures galore. When 4/5 of the strategic product roadmap priorities are focused on cost cutting or efficiencies with infrastructure and platform, I think that really says it all for the company's future.
Sumo had a great market opportunity years ago that they failed to execute on. They are now increasingly falling behind as the competition continues to eat up more market share in both security and observability.
PE owners will not provide the investment required to remain competitive in both markets. Squarely set on keeping the lights on while preventing additional customer churn to force more blood from this stone, before Sumo is inevitably sold for parts or merged with another company.
