Former Employee SailPoint has a great product for Identity Governance. it is one of the most capable platforms available in the marketplace today. After years of rapid growth the market slowed down and SailPoint found themselves a bit heavy on regional coverage. No large scale lay offs but sales territories have become very limited. layer on top of that a product that requires an extensive sales cycle and process it becomes a challenge to exceed quota. This is reflected in the 2023 results. a vast majority of the sales organization did not meet quota nor even get close. This will balance out over time but is a challenge in the moment.
