I saw someone else mention there's a hiring freeze? I have a screening call early next week for a BDR role. What would happen if there's a hiring freeze?

Depending on if you're applying for a hub (main offices) BDRs are almost always hiring.

There is rarely a hiring freeze for BDR roles.  I work in UK and Ireland market and we need more BDRs .  They’re relatively high churn jobs though.  My latest BDRs left because 1 got promoted, 1 went travelling and 1 has gone overseas to work at Salesforce.

They will continue to interview, offers might not be extended till after the freeze ends. Likely won't last.

Then they cannot offer you a role. There’s a freeze until at least Dreamforce and probably longer. This always happens towards the end of the year. I would not rely on this being a sure thing. Earnings come out on the 28th and they always tighten the belt toward the end of the year.
