Need some honest thoughts on Agentforce. Have an offer for AF AE. Joining from another data company. Keen to hear whether customers are actually buying and it does what it says on the tin?

Very little agentforce sales. Product is not fully GTM and is  a very complex sell at this point. It will ramp quickly and very good opportunity - mainly on the service side.  High upside potential.

Howdy Growth Business AE here, so far its been a great tool to have and it is rapidly expanding, feature-wise. Is the role you are taking on a "co-prime" role? If yes it may be a bit different than being a "core" AE meaning you are the QB of the account team and call the shots on most deals. Thus far there has been a pretty big swing in deals with Agentforce and internally there is a massive push to sell it (incentives are great). Hope this helps!

Are customers buying it? Yes, but they are thinking about it more like a paid proof of concept. It’s too early to know if it’s going to pan out like Benioff thinks.

The benefit is most of marketing, engineering, and professional services is all geared towards Agentforce development and growing market share. The entire c suite is 100% focused on Agentforce. Think of it like Agentforce is a start up being backed by a multibillion-dollar company that is going all in on it.

If it doesn't work out, then you just move to another role within Salesforce (assuming you are a good AE).

My advice is if you want to work at salesforce in the offered vertical, etc., then take it. Just don’t have the expectation that you will just be taking orders and there won’t be any gaps and that you will hit 200% of quota just because its Agentforce. It’s a sales gig. There will be ups and downs, pros and cons, etc.

Very territory dependent I've seen presidents club winners get PIP d out when books get shifted.  The amount of accounts reps get are becoming less and less because of Salesforce over hiring for AF. Your probability in finding success here is becoming less and less.

Knowing what I know now I would not accept a role to ONLY sell AF unless I have a solid ~30+ accounts to sell to no matter what vertical. If you’re hitting 60-70%+ of quota at your current company and the base isn’t a solid 20%+ jump then I would stay put.

AF has a long way to go.

I wish you were more specific in what market, verticle and geography you would be covering.  Medium to larger companies are taking a seriousl look at AF.  In our space, the Core AE is selling AF, we don't have a AF AE yet.
