Not a terrible experience per se. The market is tough. The combination of a tight economy and AI disruption is creating a lot of unknowns. Skeptical buyers and brand new unproven products do not result in an easy sell. There is optimism but it is too early to rely on tried and true predictable outcomes. Luck is a bigger factor now in tech sales than in the past. This is a grind and there will be collateral damage. Godspeed soldier.

SalesForce is an amazing company with amazing benefits. I previously worked at large corporations so the Enterprise BS doesn’t bother me too bad. Unfortunately I’m remote and they are going hard at RTO which is making me consider other companies that offer full remote positions.

Continual squeezing of reps, extreme uncertainty with the direction of the business, convoluted & overlapping roles. The reality of your commission checks is entirely determined by territory.
