Current Employee3.6Jul 29, 2025Salesforce is not what it once was. The “ohana” culture is no longer. Promotions aren’t based on performance - rather if you’re connected to the right people. If you happen to get a great manager and patch, you’ll do well. A lot of bad management though.

Former Employee3.9Jun 18, 2024Salesforce was a phenomenal place to work. The culture and people are great. An AE, regardless of vertical or segment, can make uncapped commission and salaries are in-line with other big SaaS companies in the US.

The favouritism towards white people is so blatant that I watched 5 people of color leave our team, including myself. The SMB manager was awful, switched accounts around throughout the year to cater to her favourite white people and ensure they were always performing with an influx of leads.
