Compensation is good although not too high compared to other companies out there. Incentives mainly apply to sellers not to sales engineers. They rather decrease incentives (make them hard to get) there. But the variable part is very low anyways.

It's a vast majority of team mates who hit quota because it's based on a team goal which is usually around 95% to goal
