My experience overall is good with Salesforce, but it seems that the golden days are over. Comp plans are becoming increasingly less-competitive with cuts on many different aspects that AEs used to get paid on. There is also a lot of internal restructuring in which AEs are kept in the dark. Still a fantastic place to learn and great product fit, albeit too overpriced for the SMB market sometimes.

It was not good. They kept quotas the same but shrunk territory by half. Problem is, so many companies already bought a ton from Salesforce and if you catch them in that era, they’ll be stuck implementing software the prior rep sold, so they won’t want to buy anything.
