This company has always offered a lower-than-market sales compensation. However, the product used to be a great market fit, and the sales organization culture and development opportunities used to be the attracting factor. With the new technological developments (especially, AI tools), the company's solutions look outdated and are much harder to sell and justify its value. The leadership has changed to less experienced and engaging while pushing for high quantity/low quality of outbound activity. Professional development is pretty much non-existent. There are better opportunities.

My overall experience of this role was good because when I was employed there it was very hands off and if you hit your quota they left you alone which was nice. They did some layoffs that were not handled professionally at all and blindsided even the top performers.

Low attainment across the EMEA business meant low morale. Your success in the business is hingent on factors outside of your control, such as being part of the inner circle.
