Three acquisitions over the past 3 years. One was a hostile takeover by PE firm SilverLake. SoftwareAG internal processes are horrendous and make it difficult to work (security processes make it near impossible to login to your computer, applications, etc). Culture of blame within sales leadership that comes from the top. President of the Americas/CRO frequently threatens violence while running forecast calls. It is done in jest but still unprofessional. Twice a week forecast calls throughout the quarter, Twice a day forecast calls at the end of the quarter. Comp plans were good in 2022 and okay in 2023. Comp plans are awful in 2024 (commission is paid 60 days in arrears). Marketing budget is non-existent. It is currently being acquired by IBM along with Webmethods. Hoping IBM cleans house at the management level, improves internal processes and gives marketing and product the shot in the arm it desperately needs.

StreamSets was an amazing company with a fantastic company culture until a few years ago. Sales environment became toxic and goals became unachievable. After the SAG acquisition, everything went even further downhill.

leadership overpromises and under-delivers. SDR manager will do anything to make a buck, including selling her team out. leadership is poorly equipped to lead an actual team- only in it for the money.
