Current Employee1.9Jun 8, 2025The sales leadership did not scale into enterprise very well. Heavily focused on Comm/MM and struggles to articulate a coherent selling motion into large clients.

Current Employee4.1May 28, 2025Datadog has a very strong product market fit. On average, less reps hit their number compared to other organizations. Datadog has adjusted their comp plan to account for this and is heavily incentivizing new logo lands. With the right account and patch, you can hit your annual number on 1 deal. Those deals will be strategic and large. It's a great learning ground.

Current Employee3.1Jan 18, 2024Pros Great product, great culture, great people. Cons (1) GTM for Enterprise needs improving. Segmented by employee count when the biggest driver for propensity to spend on Datadog is cloud spend. (2) Very few people hitting quota (3) Partnership side of the business weak due to land and expand strategy
