Dell is in a phase of not wanting to pay their sales reps. Continual budgeting cuts on compensation. They will make sure not too overpay you.

I like working at Dell because they have consistently competitive products, a great culture and leadership, and typically don't just sell one point product so I can go deep and wide into the Enterprise. What blows is there is zero equity. No stock grants or options. Not even an employee stock purchase plan.
