My experience has been positive with Fastly - leadership has improved since I've been here and pay is good. The sales culture is very positive and my manager is awesome. Issues mostly come from selling into the CDN and WAF space which is very competitive. Competing with much cheaper solutions in the market and over 15 competitors can get frustrating but overall Fastly is a great place to work. Inbound lead flow is limited with about an inbound/quarter. This is status quo however so no complaints. Numbers are attainable

No longer a good place to be a sales rep as of Jan 2024. The compensation plan was changed, requiring multiple “buckets” to be hit in order to attain commission. Certain types of revenue count only toward certain “buckets” making it disproportionately difficult to make anything beyond your base pay.
