The sales culture is entirely parochial. There's zero interest in customer success, it's all about getting the transaction done by the specified time. And the product you're selling has a competitive product also from Oracle, and there's another Oracle rep trying to compete with you for the same deal.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I learned a lot. The culture seems to be going in the right direction, BUT with Larry at the helm, I wouldn't expect much change. Oracle has a strangle hold on the market in regard to DB, very sticky products that have been part of large enterprise's ecosystem, so its very tough for customers to move away. My overall experience was mediocre at best. Had a manager steal accounts from me and give them to someone else. Turnover was so high I kept getting promoted onto teams by managers that never stayed.
