Territory, timing, and talent. Politics play a significant role. Too many AEs, too small of patch. Lots of Salesforce AEs calling into the same accounts. GTM has bounced around quite a lot over the past 3 years. Seems the company doesn’t know what it wants to do with its digital products. One minute we are talking about sunsetting B2C Commerce / Demandware. The next minute, we’re talking about doubling down on B2C! Marketing products are constantly changing branding and names. Can’t keep up. Data Cloud and Agentforce are the talk of the town, but pricing is a nightmare and adoption is slow. Great company but not the superior employer it used to be. DEI is still a thing. Culture is toxic in many orgs. Too many middle managers with egos and attitudes. Starting to think about leaving the company for better culture and work/life balance. Can always boomerang back for more money.
