Great company and your experience will all be based on how good of a manager you get. The best place to be is a core AE but your manager can make your life impossible. There is a lot of politics that happen so if you’re not in the circle you will not get good accounts.

My experience has been that the market does not have an appetite for a large heavy salesforce implementation in higher ed. Institutions are having to defend investment in Salesforce and our leadership, especially product, is extremely out of touch. The sales cycle is much longer, even for small deals. Leaders apply the same pressure for a 5K deal as as the 500K.
