Fear-based leadership running the SDR organization. Not a people-centric culture, each SDR is a number who can be replaced. SDR Managers bring a ton of value and serve their teams well. They are overworked, taken for granted, and do not have time to perform the important parts of the role. Managers waste 80% of time on redundant meetings. PayPal is an amazing company to work for, but I would stay away from the SDR organization, unless you want to report into a dinosaur with zero emotional intelligence.

My overall experience at Paypal is very average. Nothing really exciting. Product I sell isn't changing the wheel.

It takes a long time to learn the product and processes to set your self up for success. Each sales team is compensated slightly differently. And our team had a low % of reps hit quote last year, only to have this year exceed that number a lot, and now we are hearing how targets are changing for 2024 and some sales will not be weighted as heavily.
