Does anyone have insight on the trait interview process? what it entails and what to be prepared for. Also, thoughts on GBS? (i see more info on GTS below)

You should have been sent a brief from the recruiter, it’s competency based questions and they will be looking for traits like executive presence, pursuit of success, will to win, ability to learn and adapt and integrity. GBS is the growth area of the business, GTS is more mature.

As of last year, there are 5 sales competencies that also have skills associated with them.  They are from memory(skills in parenthesis): hypothesizing client priorities(analyzing information & industry acumen), aligning gartner value to client(critical thinking, problem solving), delivering Gartner value(collaboration, information sharing), prioritizing high value sales activity(prioritization, account planning, I think forecasting), building trust based value added relationship(active listening, persuasion, presentation).  I think this is what you're referring to?

Executive Presence is one of the things they’ll be looking for. You’re going to be representing the Brand, and they want someone who represents it well and is professionally charismatic.

Follow STAR method closely, come with specific examples, do extensive research ahead of time.

GBS is growing, they’re continuing to scale but doesn’t have the same brand power yet as IT.
