Varies by region. Difficult to hit number in N America SMB sales right now; success is very unevenly distributed overall at the moment if you look at the stack rank by sales of all SMB AEs in the region. The stock price increase btwn Dec and June provided a nice bump in ESPP pay in a time when commissions were low. You'll learn some things and have a strong brand on your resume and probably work less than at other places after the first few months.

It's a great opportunity.  Much better than Small Business. I would definitely do my due diligence and ask during the interview what percentage of the team and the org is hitting quota.

just under mid-market company sizes but above SMB, very good that all products can be sold (versus specific industries or products)

I am sure this answer depends on the country. However, IMO is one of the best segments. This is because your target is quite SMB but your accounts are bigger. In my team, last year 100% of Growth AEs made the number. All of them made at least 1 massive deal (between 20%-50% of the annual quota).
